ART THERAPY SESSIONS
In our art therapy sessions you:
~ are guided to make expressive art (even if you don’t have any previous experience in art) in a non-judgemental and safe space
~ can creatively process whatever personal issue/goal you want to focus on and uncover your deepest thoughts and emotions, all through art to enable you to grow in that area of life
~ can eliminate overwhelm or confusion through the power of visual art-making
~ can tap into your subconscious, your intuition and your right brain to find solutions in your life
~ discover what you need to assist you to move forward in your life
~ can address specific issues/goals including: growing your confidence and self-esteem, grief or loss, moving through relationship issues or letting go of fears.
In our disability supports you:
~ are supported in the community to participate in activities of your choice
~ will be encouraged to be as independent as possible
~ can work towards your goals with the assistance of a support worker who treats you with the dignity and respect that you deserve.
